any news on the may 30/31 trackday actually happening instead of being cancelled? ive taken a few days off of work to attend this, as did quite a few others that are coming with me.

Hey Brian, any word on what the status of the facilities will be by the time the first track day comes around? I've seen the pics of the track itself, but haven't heard if there's going to be anything else ready in the paddock area, ie bathrooms, running water, showers, etc.

x2 on not caring about ammenities. i only care about laying some down some rubber on the track that weekend. i can pee in the woods, and we bring a bbq and grill food anyways while at the track.

this thread was mainly for those to post up for who was going to be attending this track weekend.

Reminds me of that "does a sheep s%%t in the woods" joke.... not if he can help it

If they have the track and runoff done (traps where necessary) I will be be thrilled. Everything else is gravy just as you pointed out.

Yeah, I don't care if the other stuff is ready. But it does make a difference when people are planning what supplies they need to bring, i.e. extra water for drinking and for cleaning my stank ass. I'm all for being gung-ho to get on the track like everyone else, but there are some practical needs you gotta take care of too.

I'm coming from 2.5 hours away, and once I get to track and get my stuff set up I won't leave. My trailer becomes my home for the weekend, so I gotta make sure I've got everything I need when I get there. Sounds like an extra jug of water would be a good idea. Thanks.

Heck no, I can't afford hotels with all the weekends I'm at the track, especially with a dog involved. I've got everything I need in my trailer (except for a shower). Looks like it will be "Kentucky Showers" for me at Bluegrass. You can do a lot with a cold bucket of water and a wash cloth fellas, but I still recommend keeping a safe distance from me.

we have 6 ppl with us driving from 7 hrs. plus about 10 others i know coming from colorado to florida going as well.

power, i dont care about. we run generators. food, again dont care as we grill. showers and sleeping, dont care. hotels are made for that. a finished track is my only concern, as well as great weather.

Actually, The reason I was going was to prepare for the WERA event which has now been canceled, so I'm not too happy about it.

When did you find out the WERA event was cancelled? I just looked on the site and don't see any news on it.
