Either way you want to time Cincinnati so it's not rush hour. Also go straight thru Cincinnati as the By-pass is really long. Watch the signs closely as you get near the river before you cross into the KY Statelmao or you'll miss your exit for 75 south. After that it's easy. Down I-75 across I-71 then down I-65. This way is fastest but also avoids the big hill as you enter TN if you stayed on I-75. 12-14 hours for me and I'm a little farther than you. Wish I was coming but bikes aren't ready. Have fun.:wheel:
Oh and for sheeplike travel check out Roadside America for some bizarre (and normal) side tracks like the flying saucer house in Chattanooga (bad idea with a trailer though as the hill up is switchbacks)
Will this all pretty much apply in April? Can't make this 1st one but I am going to find a way to make the next one!!
^ Drive Safe Tim! We are planning on being in the same Pit spot as last time..(Next Door). See ya there!
Thanks all for a great weekend! Weather turned out PERFECT. Track conditions great except for a few weepers. Got a little stupid in A by mid afternoon Sunday, so bad Trevor had to take the unprecedented action of getting on the intercom to tell everybody to knock it off. Wondering about the condition of the two rider crash Sunday - I was in the middle of it but luckily came away unscathed...
Keith it was fun out there this weekend for sure... Great to see you again... Last I heard Joe Lee broke his Femur and obviously will be in surgery here soon... I feel bad for him because he had that KTM lock up on him at Road America last year and he really did a number on it up there as well... I told Stefano to keep me posted on whats going on and if help was needed. He is at UAB... All in All it was a fantastic weekend with very few flags... I would like to thank everyone for coming to ride and hang out... It was great to see everyone.... Marc
had a great time! felt good to get back on the bike. thanks to Marc for helping me get to this event. looking forward to the next event. hope Joe Lee makes a speedy recovery.
